Clerk of Court accepts transactions filed electronically. Please review the law
governing electronic filing and electronic signatures. The Clerk of Court and
the filer hereby agree to conduct a transaction by electronic means. The filer
hereby certifies that the written instrument from which the electronic record
is taken conforms to all applicable laws relating to the form and content of
instruments which are submitted in writing. By filing electronically, you agree
to these terms and conditions.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
The electronic filing system DOES NOT automatically serve opposing
parties when you eFile a document with the court. You must take specific steps
to ensure you are properly serving opposing parties.� For details click here.��
You are not charged for rejected or returned filings,
however you will see an authorization hold on your bank account.� Based on your financial institution�s rules,
it can take anywhere from 3-7 business days for the hold to fall off.
Not all fees will populate with the filing code.� You may need to click �Add New Optional
Service� within the filings section to check for additional fees.
All party information needs to be entered in capital letters, for St.
Tammany Parish.
Getting Started (Read
First):
Step 1:

for the court you are filing into.

Step 3:�
�Designate a person to administer
the eFiling system for your firm. �The Administrator will register the firm and
be responsible for setting up and maintaining all users, credit card accounts,
and attorneys at the firm.� Click here

Step 5:�
�Register on the eFile and Serve
Portal.

The
Firm Administrator will invite all other members of the firm to register during
the account setup process.
�
When
registering as an attorney with a solo practice, "Register for a Firm
Account" should be selected as the option during the registration process.
�
If
you are not an attorney, nor a member of a firm, "Register for a
Self-Representative Account" should be selected as the option during the
registration process.
