1.
All attorneys
must register for e-filing using their attorney number. Find it here: http://mdcourts.gov/lawyers/attylist.html.
Out-of-state attorneys must request an attorney number for e-filing purposes by
contacting the JIS Service Desk at 410-260-1114.
2.
To view case
documents remotely, attorneys and case parties must complete a separate
registration on the Maryland Judiciary
Record Search portal (aka MDEC) with the same email address used
to register for e-filing. (Maryland Rule 20-109).
3.
Electronic
notification of service does not happen automatically. You must add yourself as
a service contact in your cases and whitelist
no-reply@tylertech.cloud to be
sure that your service provider does not block receipt of your service emails.

4.
Maryland attorneys
may access Statewide Uniform Subpoena forms by logging into their account in
the Attorney
Information System (AIS).
5.
Protected
Criminal Sealed Indictment cases that have active warrants will not be
available for electronic filing until the warrant is served. State's attorneys
must file into these cases with paper until the clerk makes the case public
when the warrant is served. These cases are not available for view in case
searches by party name or case number.
6.
