Getting Started

Step 1:

Review the statewide MDEC Policies and Procedures Manual and the Odyssey File &  Serve User Guides for an overview of the processes, technical requirements and preparations for eFiling.

Step 2:

Sign up and attend a Webinar Session and/or watch Tutorial Videos under the “Self Help” section of the homepage.

Step 3:

Designate a person to administer the eFiling system.   The Administrator will register the firm and be responsible for setting up and maintaining all users, credit card accounts, and attorneys at the firm.

NOTE:  eFile Administrators only need to register and create an account one time to enable legal professionals in their firm to eFile and eServe.  Refer to the Policies and Procedures manual here to see what it means to be a Firm Administrator.

NOTE:  If you are an attorney or paralegal and want to join a firm, you cannot register to join a firm from the home page. Instead, you must request an email invitation from your Firm Administrator. After you receive the invitation email, click the link in the body of the email. You will be guided through the registration process enabling you to join that firm.

Step 4:

Whitelist efilingmail@tylerhost.net to receive e-mail notifications (click here for more information).
