Starting October 14, 2024, attorneys must electronically submit subsequent filings in criminal cases in all magistrate courts statewide and the Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court. This is in accordance with Supreme Court Order No. S-1-AO-2024-00023.

Effective
April 7, 2023:
all File & Serve users with Secured Odyssey Public Access (SOPA) accounts
now have access to re:SearchNM with the same profile and priviledges.
Effective June 1, 2022: LR2-603 NMRA has been amended to increase the arbitration
limits from $25,000 to $50,000 in the Second Judicial District Court. Under the
amended rule, all civil cases shall be referred to arbitration when no party
seeks relief other than a money judgment and no party seeks an amount in excess
of $50,000. Please amend your Court-Annexed Arbitration Certification
accordingly.
Effective September 9, 2021: e-Filing for civil cases in Magistrate courts is mandatory for
attorneys for both initial and subsequent filings. For
Magistrate courts, Proposed Text/Orders for review by a judge will be submitted
through File & Serve.
Effective
January 14, 2019: the 2nd and 12th Judicial Districts will accept
subsequent filings for all Criminal cases, including Juvenile, through File and
Serve. Please see the Criminal eFiling page for additional information.
Effective August 21, 2017: the New Mexico Court of Appeals will be accepting both initial
and subsequent filing electronically through File and Serve. Electronic filing
to the Court of Appeals is mandatory. Please see the Court

Effective July 16, 2017: a $15.00 alternative dispute resolution fee will be assessed
statewide on all applicable new and reopened civil cases.
Effective July 1, 2017: the New Mexico Supreme Court is accepting both initial and
subsequent electronic filings through File and Serve. Electronic filing to the
